I say all this because I've seen it with my own eyes. I've seen composers enter the industry with a burning passion and a desire to create great music, but as they work and work on their own, not knowing who to turn to, who they can trust, ask for feedback, and collaborate with, they become resentful, and eventually lose the love for music altogether. 

It's so hard to improve as a composer and truly know you're on the right track when you're working by yourself all the time.

With an ever growing list of questions from my students, requests for feedback & coaching, and aspiring composers entering the scene on a daily basis, I knew something had to be done.

"I'm new to the music composing scene, but honestly, composing has been something that I've wanted to pursue seriously for a while now. One of the things that Chris's Composing Community offered me when I first joined was exactly what it's entitled: a community of like minded people who are both passionate about composing and very encouraging to beginners like me.

Reading the encouragement and constructive feedback from both Chris and the members of CCC on my track and other people's tracks has helped me a lot. I've found getting encouragement (and feedback) from CCC very different from getting feedback from friends and family, who, to no fault of their own, may only be able to tell you whether they like it or not, but probably are not able to articulate what they like about it or how they think it can be improved.
